LSR 5-4. DEATH PENALTY CASES; BUDGETING OF APPOINTED COUNSEL Appointed counsel in death penalty cases must submit a proposed budget to the court prior to beginning any work on the case. The proposed budget must be submitted on the form provided by the court. Counsel may not exceed the approved budget without prior court approval.
