Cr. RULE 44.1 FORMAL WRITTEN APPEARANCE - CRIMINAL MATTERS Unless appointed by a formal order of the Court, after the filing of an indictment or information the attorney for each defendant named therein shall promptly file with the Clerk a formal appearance in substantially the form set forth in Appendix B and mail a copy thereof to the United States Attorney. If defense counsel is not a member of the bar of this Court, he or she shall also certify that he or she is a member in good standing of the bar of a court of the United States or of the highest court of a state, who is not under suspension or disbarment of any court, and shall indicate the bar(s) of which he or she is a member and the year(s) of admission, in substantially the form set forth in Appendix B.
