Civ. RULE 47.2 ASSESSMENT OF JURY COSTS All counsel in civil cases must seriously discuss the possibility of settlement a reasonable time prior to trial. The trial Judge may, in his or her discretion, assess any party or attorney with the costs of jury attendance if a case is settled after the jury has been summoned or during the trial, the amount to be paid to the Clerk. For the purpose of interpreting this paragraph, a jury is considered summoned for trial as of noon of the business day prior to the designated date of the trial.
