CIVIL RULE 4.1 SERVICE OF PROCESS AND COURT ORDERS
(A) SERVICE BY UNITED STATES MARSHALS SERVICE The United States Marshals Service is relieved from serving civil process and court orders for non-federal litigants except as required by law or court order for good cause shown.
(B) APPOINTMENT OF SPECIAL PROCESS SERVERS State sheriffs and their deputies are specially appointed to serve and execute civil process and court orders under Fed. R. Civ. P. 4 and 4.1 without court order.
(C) PROOF OF SERVICE OF SUBPOENAS A party must retain proof of service of subpoenas until the entry of a final non-appealable judgment or dismissal. A party may not file proof of service of subpoenas unless required to support a contested issue or unless ordered by the court.
