DUCivR 1-2 SANCTIONS FOR CIVIL RULE VIOLATIONS On a party's motion or on its own, the court may impose sanctions against an attorney, a party, or both for violating these rules. Sanctions include costs, reasonable attorney's fees, a fine, or any combination of these, or any other sanction the court deems appropriate. The court may dismiss a case or enter judgment as a sanction only in extraordinary circumstances.
