RULE 171 (Fed. R. Civ. P. 83)
PUBLICATION There is no official newspaper for the Eastern District of California. In each instance in which publication of any document, notice, or other matter is required or permitted, the Court shall designate by order the appropriate newspaper or other vehicle for publication. In seeking such designation, counsel shall file a motion proposing the place and manner of publication, setting forth such information as the language to be published, the frequency of publication, the reasons underlying selection of the proposed vehicle of publication, and all other relevant matters.
