LR 47.3 Argument of Law to Jury Prohibited In argument to a jury, counsel must not read to the jury from any legal textbook or reported case, instruct the jury on any matter of law, or argue law to the jury, except to refer to the instructions on the law that the court has advised will be given to the jury.
