Local Civil Rule 83.4. Publication of Required Public Notices [formerly Local Civil Rule 83.6]
(a) Unless otherwise provided by statute, rule, or order of the court, all notices required to be published by a party (except notices of sale of real estate or of any interest in land) must be published in a newspaper which has a general circulation in the district where the case was filed or a circulation reasonably calculated to give public notice of a legal publication. The court may direct the publication of such additional notice as it may deem advisable.
(b) Unless ordered otherwise, notices for the sale of real estate or of any interest in land must be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the county in which the real estate or the land in question is located.
