Local Rule Rule 100.1: Court Libraries
E.D.N.C. — General rule
Rule 100.1 Court Libraries The clerk shall maintain the court libraries in the District. Use of the facilities is limited to judicial officers, court staff, and members of the bar of this court. Books shall not be removed from the library without the consent of the person responsible for the maintenance of the particular library and shall not be removed from the courthouse under any circumstances. A violation of this local rule shall be punishable as contempt of court.
