Local Rule 30.1: NONRESIDENT PLAINTIFFS

30.1 NONRESIDENT PLAINTIFFS. It is the general policy of this court that a nonresident plaintiff may be deposed once at his own expense in this district during the discovery period of the case. A nonresident, within the meaning of this Rule, is a party residing outside the state of Georgia. The court may order differently if extenuating circumstances exist and written request is made by a party.
