LOCAL CIVIL RULE 4 – SUMMONS Deposit for Service. Except as provided by law in cases involving indigent persons, or unless ordered by the court, the United States Marshal shall not be required to perform any service until the deposit of a sum sufficient to cover the immediate costs has been made, and, may demand security in a reasonable amount for further costs.
