LOCAL CIVIL RULE 55 - DEFAULT In addition to the provisions of Fed. R. Civ. P. 55, the following rules apply to default judgments:
• All requests for entry of default shall be made to the Clerk of Court in writing; • The clerk shall provide notice of entry of default to each defendant or the defendant's attorney at the last known address; • A judgment of default shall not be entered until fourteen days after entry of default.
