LR 54.1 Judgment by Confession. Judgment may be entered on a confession of judgment or a warrant of attorney to confess judgment, in accordance with the practice in effect in the courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, providing the requisites of federal jurisdiction are set forth in the papers filed in connection with the entry of judgment. The caption of all papers filed in connection with confession of judgment cases subsequent to the complaint shall include the phrase "Confession of Judgment" directly below the assigned judge's name.
