LR 83.3.2 Failure to Exercise Reasonable Diligence In Effecting Settlement of a Case. Whenever the court finds that any party or lawyer in any case before the court has acted in bad faith, or has failed to exercise reasonable diligence in effecting the settlement of such case at the earliest practicable time, the court may impose upon any such party or lawyer the jury costs, including mileage and per diem, resulting therefrom. The court may, in its discretion, hold a hearing to inquire into the facts with respect thereto.
