LR 5.2 ADDITIONAL AND COURTESY COPIES
(1) Generally. An original of all complaints, answers, amendments, motions, and other pleadings and papers shall be filed with the clerk at the public filing counter, unless the Court expressly authorizes filing by other means. All original and courtesy copies of pleadings shall be clearly marked. A copy of each pleading shall be served upon opposing counsel.
(2) Courtesy Copies in Electronic Format. Courtesy copies of pleadings may be presented to the judge or magistrate judge in electronic format on a compact disc. Such discs may include hyperlinks to case cites, statutes, affidavits, depositions, and exhibits. Any courtesy copy in electronic format shall also be served upon each of the parties in accordance with Fed. R. Civ. P. 5(a).
