20.1 Transfer from a District for Plea and Sentence Upon the transfer under Fed. R. Crim. P. 20 of an information or indictment charging a minor offense, the Court shall refer the case immediately to a Magistrate Judge who shall take the plea and impose sentence in the manner prescribed in the Federal Rules if, pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § 3401 and/or Fed. R. Crim. P. 41, the defendant consents in writing to this procedure.
