Local Rule 83.7: Mandatory Mediation Plan

83.7 Mandatory Mediation Plan Purpose. The United States District Court for the Northern District of New York has adopted this Mandatory Mediation Plan. The paid Mediation Program is designed to provide quicker, less expensive and potentially more satisfying alternatives to continuing litigation, without impairing the quality of justice or the right to trial. (See General Order #47).
