Civil L.R. 65.2. Security for Costs In addition to any security required by law, the Court, at any time upon good cause shown, may order that security for costs be given by any party. Security for costs must consist of a cash deposit or a bond, with surety, in the sum of $500.00, unless otherwise ordered. The security must be conditioned to secure the payment of costs that the posting party may ultimately be ordered to pay to a party. A party may raise objections to the form, amount, or sufficiency of security for costs.
