Local Rule Criminal Rule 23.1: Trial Briefs

Criminal Rule 23.1 Trial Briefs Unless otherwise ordered by the Court, counsel for the government and for each defendant may file a trial brief prior to commencement of trial. Copies must be provided for the trial judge and adverse counsel. The brief should set forth any reasonably foreseeable point of law bearing on the issues upon which either party relies that are unusual or which otherwise require support, with citation of relevant statutes, ordinances, rules, cases and other authorities.
