LCrR 10 WRITTEN ARRAIGNMENT, PLEA, AND WAIVER OF PERSONAL APPEARANCE FORM A defendant who has been charged by indictment or misdemeanor information and has had an initial appearance pursuant to Federal Rule of Criminal Procedure 5 may, pursuant to Federal Rule of Criminal Procedure 10(b), waive personal appearance at the arraignment on the charges and plead not guilty by filing a written waiver of personal appearance in the form available on the courts' websites. The waiver must be filed at least 4 days before the time scheduled for the arraignment.

Defendants are encouraged to electronically file a waiver of personal appearance form in lieu of personally appearing at arraignments on superseding indictments and superseding misdemeanor informations.
