LCrR 55 CRIMINAL CASE FILES AND DOCKETING The Clerk of Court will retain the original paper version of all indictments and informations for the length of time required by the Judicial Conference of the United States Courts. The United States Attorney's office must retain the original paper version of all criminal complaints for 5 years after the electronic filing of the complaint.
