LCrR17.1 Subpoenas Fed. R. Cr. P. 17(c) subpoenas are not a discovery device and are not intended to provide an additional means of obtaining pre-trial discovery. Any motion for issuance of Fed. R. Cr. P. 17(c) subpoenas, except for good cause shown, must be filed with the Court only after conferring with opposing counsel and must set forth: (i) the specific documents sought, (ii) their relevance, and (iii) their admissibility at trial or a pre-trial hearing.
