LR10.2 Consolidated Cases A motion to consolidate must be filed in the lowest numbered case. The clerk of court will file notice of the motion in the other cases to ensure notice to all affected parties. A judge assigned to the lowest numbered case will decide the motion. If consolidation is granted, the clerk of court will transfer higher number cases to the Article III Judge of the Division having the earliest number, unless the Court orders otherwise.

The caption of all papers filed after consolidation must bear the caption of the lowest numbered case in the group and the word consolidated. That caption will continue to identify the consolidated cases even if the lead case is closed.
