Local Rule LCvR 3: ASSIGNMENT TO ERIE, JOHNSTOWN OR PITTSBURGH DOCKET

LCvR 3 ASSIGNMENT TO ERIE, JOHNSTOWN OR PITTSBURGH DOCKET Where it appears from the complaint, petition or other pleading that the claim arose OR any plaintiff or defendant resides in: Crawford, Elk, Erie, Forest, McKean, Venango, or Warren County, the Clerk of Court shall give such complaint, petition or other pleading an Erie number and it shall be placed on the Erie docket. Should it appear from the complaint, petition or other pleading that the claim arose OR any plaintiff or defendant resides in: Bedford, Blair, Cambria, Clearfield or Somerset County, the Clerk of Court shall give such complaint, petition or other pleading a Johnstown number and it shall be placed on the Johnstown docket. All other cases or matters for litigation shall be docketed and processed at Pittsburgh. In the event of a conflict between the Erie and Johnstown dockets, the Clerk of Court shall place the action on the plaintiff's choice of those two dockets.
