Rule 50 Motion for a Directed Verdict

This rule has no content in the Delaware Court of Chancery. It was intentionally left out because the Court of Chancery does not use directed verdicts.

This makes sense because the Court of Chancery is an equity court where a judge, not a jury, decides cases. Directed verdicts are a tool used in jury trials to stop a case when one side has not presented enough evidence. Since there are no juries in the Court of Chancery, this rule simply does not apply.
