Rule 59 Effective date

These criminal court rules for Delaware Superior Court started being used on January 1, 1992. Any criminal case that began on or after that date follows these rules.

Cases that were already in progress when the rules took effect also follow them, as long as applying the new rules is fair and makes sense given where the case stands.
