Rule 82 Jurisdiction and Venue Unaffected

The Court of Chancery has set rules about how cases are handled, but those rules do not change which cases the court can hear. The court's power and reach stay exactly the same as before.

If a case belongs in a different court, these rules do not move it to the Court of Chancery. And if a case already belongs there, these rules do not push it out. The rules only deal with how cases are run, not where they belong.
