Delaware Rapid Arbitration Rules – 2026
The Supreme Court's rules for arbitrations under the Delaware Rapid Arbitration Act, 10 Del. C. § 5801 and following, a fast process for business disputes. Twenty-seven rules run from starting the arbitration and the pleadings through the exchange of information, the hearing, the final award and fees. The award is due within the time the Act sets, and a late award reduces the arbitrator's fee (Rule 25). The parties may change these rules by agreement if the arbitrator consents, but not the deadlines or other terms the Act fixes (Rule 3).
