Rule 61 Professional ethics

Lawyers practicing in Delaware must follow the Delaware Lawyers' Rules of Professional Conduct. This applies to both lawyers who are regular members of the Delaware Bar and lawyers from other states who are given special permission to work on a single case in Delaware (called "pro hac vice" admission).

These rules cover how lawyers are expected to behave and act professionally. The official guidelines and comments that go along with the rules also count and must be followed. When the rules or comments are updated, lawyers must follow the newer versions.
