Rule 3.451 Judicial Comment on Verdict

After a trial ends, a judge can thank the jury for doing their civic duty. That is completely fine and normal.

However, the judge cannot say anything good or bad about the decision the jury made. It does not matter if the judge agrees or disagrees with the verdict. The judge must stay neutral and keep those opinions to themselves.
