If a business or organization has a regular, set way of doing something, that habit can be used as evidence in court. For example, if a company always sends confirmation emails after receiving a payment, that routine can be shown to prove they likely sent one in your case too.

This type of evidence is allowed even if no one personally watched the routine happen in the specific situation being discussed. The court accepts that organizations tend to follow their own standard procedures consistently.
