Rule 12.006 Filing Copies of Orders in Related

When a judge signs an order in a family law case, that same order might affect other family cases involving the same people. In that situation, the court can place a copy of the order in each related case file.

To keep things organized, the order should list all the relevant case numbers. That way, the same information appears in every file where it matters, and nothing gets missed across related cases.
