Rule 2.150 Self-represented Litigants

People who represent themselves in court must follow the same rules as lawyers. You do not get special treatment or extra help from the court just because you don't have an attorney.

If you choose to handle your own case, you are responsible for learning and following the proper court procedures. The judge will hold you to the same standards as a trained lawyer.
