Rule 2.345 Electronic Signature of Court Official

When a judge or court official signs a document, that signature is automatically trusted as real once the document is in the official court file.

Before the court clerk adds a signed document to the official file, they must first verify that the signature is genuine. They do this by following the Florida Courts Technology Standards, which are the technical rules courts use to check electronic signatures.
