Rule 8.025 Style of Pleadings and Orders

When you file paperwork in a Florida juvenile case, the title at the top must follow a specific format. It needs to say either "In the interest of [child's name], a child" or "In the interest of [children's names], children."

This applies to all documents filed in the case, including orders from the judge. Using the correct title helps make sure the paperwork is properly identified as a juvenile case.
