Rule 8.830 Transcripts

When you have a juvenile court case, the court must keep a written record of everything that is said and done during the hearings. This includes all testimony from witnesses and anything else that happens in court.

This written record is called a transcript. Having a transcript matters because it allows anyone involved in the case to look back at exactly what was said if there is ever a dispute or an appeal.
