§ 1.13 Personnel

The Chairperson of the Board of Bar Examiners can hire staff to help carry out the Board's work. This staff helps handle the duties described in the Hawaiʻi Supreme Court rules and the Board's own procedures.

These staff members are not employees of the Judiciary. Instead, they either work without pay or get paid directly from the Board's own funds. This keeps the Board's staff separate from the regular court system's payroll and structure.
