§ 3.3 Request for Hearing

If you asked for accommodations under the ADA and the committee said no or wants to change what you asked for, you have the right to challenge that decision. You do this by asking for a hearing.

To request a hearing, you must send a written request to the Clerk. You only have 20 days to do this after you get notice of the committee's decision. If you miss this deadline, you may lose your chance to challenge the decision.

Once you file your request, the hearing itself follows a separate set of steps laid out in Part 4 of the rules. Those steps explain how the hearing will work and what happens next.
