Rule 5 Officers of Board; Quorum

The board that oversees court reporting rules must choose four officers to lead it: a chair, a vice chair, a secretary, and a treasurer. These officers help run meetings and handle the board's business.

For the board to make official decisions, more than half of its members need to be present. This is called a quorum. If enough members aren't there, the board can't vote on or approve anything at that meeting.
