Rule 85 Title.

This rule simply gives the official name to the set of rules used in Hawaiʻi's family court cases. From now on, these rules are called the Hawaiʻi Family Court Rules, or HFCR for short.

Think of this as a naming rule, not one that affects how your case is handled. When you see "HFCR" followed by a number in legal papers or court forms, it just means someone is pointing to a specific rule within this set of family court rules. This short name makes it easier for judges, lawyers, and court staff to reference the rules without repeating the full title every time.
