Rule 16 Expenses and Fees

This rule covers who decides the costs for becoming a certified spoken-language interpreter in Hawaiʻi. The Administrative Director is in charge of setting these fees, including any costs tied to filing or handling complaints about interpreters.

The Administrative Director can also change these fees whenever needed. This means the cost of certification, testing, or complaint procedures might go up or down over time, depending on what the Administrative Director decides.
