Rule 2.2 Electronic Signatures

If a document needs a signature and it's being sent electronically, an electronic signature is good enough. This covers things like search warrants, arrest warrants, sworn statements made under penalty of perjury, and affidavits. People don't need to physically sign these documents by hand when they're filed or sent this way.

This also applies to notary seals. A notary can use an electronic seal instead of a physical stamp when notarizing documents that are handled electronically. This makes it easier for police, prosecutors, and courts to process paperwork quickly, especially when getting a warrant approved without everyone being in the same place.
