This summary is not the rule. The rule text controls.
If you need to file a petition, motion, or memorandum of costs with the Idaho Supreme Court, you have to submit it electronically. You also need to make sure copies get served to the other parties the right way, as this rule requires.
Beyond the electronic filing and service requirements, your documents still need to follow the regular Idaho Appellate Rules. In other words, this rule doesn't change what your petition, motion, or memorandum of costs needs to say or how it needs to be formatted. It just adds the requirement that you file it online instead of on paper.
This matters because if you skip electronic filing and try to file on paper instead, your document may not be accepted or processed correctly. Make sure you understand how to use the electronic filing system before you submit anything to the Supreme Court.
