§ 124B-305 Distribution of property and sale proceeds

All moneys and the sale proceeds of all other property forfeited and seized under this Part 300 shall be distributed as follows: (1) 45% shall be divided equally between all State agencies and units of local government whose officers or employees conducted the investigation or initiated the hearing that resulted in the forfeiture. (2) 50% shall be deposited into the Specialized Services for Survivors of Human Trafficking Fund and disbursed in accordance with subsections (d), (e), and (f) of Section 5-9-1.21 of the Unified Code of Corrections. (3) 5% shall be paid to the Office of the State's Attorneys Appellate Prosecutor to train State's Attorneys on forfeiture proceedings and topics related to human trafficking. .)
