(a) A prosecution for an ordinance violation for which the penalty does not include the possibility of a jail term may be initiated by a charging document such as a Notice to Appear, Uniform Citation and Complaint Form, Ticket, or Complaint that meets the requirements set forth in Rules 10 and 552.
