This rule does not currently have any content. It has been set aside by the Illinois Supreme Court but not yet filled in with any requirements or guidance.

Sometimes courts reserve a rule number for future use while they work on the language. For now, Rule 4.2 has no effect on judges or anyone involved in a court case.
