Rule 6.11 Clerk of the supreme court

The clerk of the supreme court does not have to handle every task alone. This rule allows the clerk to have deputies help carry out the duties required by the appellate rules.

For anyone dealing with the court, this means paperwork or actions handled by a deputy clerk carry the same weight as if the clerk personally handled them. You do not need to worry about whether the clerk or a deputy processes your filing. Either way, it counts as being done by the clerk's office.
