Five aspirational standards on how lawyers and judges should treat one another, distinct from the disciplinary rules in chapter 32. Rule 33.1 is the preamble: a lawyer's conduct should be characterised at all times by personal courtesy and professional integrity in the fullest sense of those terms. The rest state lawyers' duties to other counsel (33.2), lawyers' duties to the court (33.3), courts' duties to lawyers (33.4), and judges' duties to each other (33.5).
