§ 60-1302 Oath and bond.

Before a receiver can start doing their job, they have to take an oath promising to do the work honestly and carefully. They also have to put up a bond, which is like a financial safety net that protects other people if the receiver messes up or acts dishonestly.

The judge decides how big this bond needs to be and who benefits from it. The receiver also has to find people (called sureties) who will back up the bond financially. This isn't a one-time deal either. If the court later thinks the bond amount is too low, it can order the receiver to add more money to it. On the other hand, if the court decides the bond is more than what's needed, it can lower the amount instead.
