§ 60-1715 Severability.

If a court decides that one part of this law is invalid, that decision does not cancel out the whole law. Each section of this act stands on its own, except for two specific sections (60-1701 and 60-1704). So if a judge strikes down one piece of the law, everything else in the law still stays in effect and can still be enforced.

This matters because it keeps the rest of the legal protections and procedures in place, even if one specific part gets challenged in court. People relying on this law do not have to worry that a problem with one section will wipe out their rights or options under the other sections.
